One operation in Long Beach serving both San Pedro Bay ports, the surrounding warehouse districts and destinations across the U.S.
Logistics locations built around San Pedro Bay
Our logistics locations center on one base in Long Beach, California. From there we serve the Port of Long Beach, the neighboring Port of Los Angeles, the warehouse districts that surround them, and the rest of Southern California, with nationwide trucking for freight heading further.
Together, the two San Pedro Bay ports moved more than 20 million TEUs in 2025: roughly 9.9 million at Long Beach and more than 10.2 million at Los Angeles. A large share of U.S. trans-Pacific imports first touches land here. San Pedro Bay port logistics is the center of our work, which is why we built our warehousing, CFS, transloading and container storage operation close to the terminals.

How freight reaches each type of location
The method changes with distance from the terminals.
- Harbor-area districts such as Carson, Compton and Rancho Dominguez: direct drayage, often with more than one port turn per truck per day, plus pre-pulls when docks are full.
- Central LA County and Orange County: direct drayage for single destinations, or unloading in Long Beach and delivering palletized freight by truckload or LTL.
- Inland Empire: direct drayage, or transloading near the port to return containers sooner and ship in 53-foot trailers.
- Outside California: transloading or cross-docking in Long Beach, then nationwide FTL or LTL.
Why one Long Beach base serves every location
We deliberately run one operation near the ports instead of facilities spread across the region. Containers are emptied a short distance from the terminals, empties go back sooner, and bonded, CFS and warehouse work all stay with one team. The ports we serve directly are Long Beach and Los Angeles; our Southern California logistics locations, such as Carson, Compton and the Inland Empire, are delivery markets served from that base.
For destinations beyond Southern California, freight leaves Long Beach by full truckload or LTL to anywhere in the U.S., with cross-border service to Canada and Mexico. If you are planning the whole import, our guide to importing through Los Angeles and Long Beach covers each step from vessel to warehouse.
Frequently asked questions
Where are you located?
Our warehousing, CFS, transloading and container handling are in Long Beach, California, close to the Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles.
Do you have facilities in Carson, Compton or the Inland Empire?
No. We serve those markets from our Long Beach operation, by direct drayage or by delivering freight we have handled in Long Beach.
Do you serve both ports equally?
Yes. The same team, chassis fleet and warehouse handle containers from Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles terminals.
Do you serve areas outside Southern California?
Yes, by truck. Freight can move by full truckload or LTL anywhere in the U.S., with cross-border service to Canada and Mexico.
How do I know which port my container is at?
The arrival notice from your ocean carrier or forwarder names the discharge terminal. Long Beach terminals sit on the Long Beach piers and eastern Terminal Island; Los Angeles terminals are in San Pedro, Wilmington and western Terminal Island.
Do you operate at other U.S. ports?
Our port operations are at Long Beach and Los Angeles. Freight from those ports can be trucked to any U.S. destination.
